Target: to offer affordable rental units

In July 2022, the Society, purchased the Siesta Motel. The original plan was to renovate the existing rooms making affordable rental units.

Working with a non profit consulting form, it has been ascertained that the condition of the existing structures will not make this extensive renovation feasible.

Our revised plan will see the former motel removed and new construction of affordable units take its place. 

This is a setback not a roadblock.
